Little Africa Plaza
About
At African Economic Development Solutions (AEDS), we are proud to introduce Little Africa Plaza as a key part of revitalizing Saint Paul’s African Cultural District. This historic building, constructed in 1926 as a car showroom, now stands as a symbol of progress and opportunity. Its unique design, with decorative arches and detailed brickwork, reflects the building's rich history while now serving as a place for cultural businesses to grow.

Our vision for Little Africa Plaza is to support the growth of ethnic entrepreneurs and provide a vibrant space for the community. The plaza includes a new ethnic grocery store, independent retail shops, an art sales room/community room, and office space for our growing team. This project highlights the city and state’s commitment to fostering economic development in underrepresented communities.

Through Little Africa Plaza, we aim to create a thriving hub that honors our heritage and builds a future where African-owned businesses can flourish.
